Not so Spagetti - Bolognese

GF. DF. Refined Sugar Free.

Serves 5.

This is a super quick and easy recipe to make for dinner. I like to add a lot of veggies to my bolognese to bulk it up and get in my daily veggie intake but there's lots of alternative veggies you could use instead of carrot & spinach.

Ingredients:

- Organic Tomato Sauce (I used Passata) - 250 grams of Buckwheat Pasta or other pasta of choice - 500 grams of extra lean mince - 1 brown onion - 3 - 4 cups of grated carrot - 150 grams of spinach - Oregano

You can find the above products at most health food stores but if you are finding an alternative just make sure to read the labels and ensure the sauce doesn't have any added sugars.

Method:

1. Cook the pasta as directed. 2. Cook your diced onion until its nearly reached that translucent stage, add your mince and oregano, cook until brown. 3. Stir through your sauce and veggies for about 10 minutes or until the veggies are cooked through. 4. Add your cooked pasta and stir through until combined.
